Hey guys!

I have a project here that I originally designed for a PHL Audio 6201 Mnd driver. The driver has an octagonal shape basket so it is very compact. The enclosure size is 67Wx56Dx43H, it will fit also other drivers but might need some modifying of the box size.
The design is a very compact sealed chamber and a compact throat chamber, then a conventional horn begins to expand. The driver sits in the throat chamber so the motor system is well ventilated.
It has a pretty low end extension 51Hz -10db. I dont remember the sensitivity because I have lost the horn resp file due to an error - it went blank, that sometimes happens and also the 2d plans are gone, but I could rebuild all of this if someone would find this project interesting. This is a prototype so it does not have any handles and has a little sweat on it :)

Here are some photos and a ground plane measurement with HP4 and LP4 filters activated, no EQ.
If you have any questions or suggestions drop a comment or PM

Looking great! Very nice work, pity you lost your data!

I am sure many people would appreciate it if you could be bothered with re-drawing and releasing the plan. I think someone was very recently asking for a kick bin that plays high....

Im gonna do another measurement with filters off sometime soon so we can seee how high it can go but I think this measurement was taken considering the usable freq range when it was as linear as possible- 200Hz being the top emd, I personally think this is how high the kick bin should normally play maybe a little higher even.

Thanks for all the thumbs up- that motivates me reanimating this thing

OK so I did a simulation of the box

This is with filters on, spl at 1000w aes PHL driver

But the embarassing part is that with filters off, its so bad that I even don't want to show it publicly :D
When I designed this box I really did it to have a low end of 60Hz to be able to cross over to infra subs, but later I figured that it is best to have a kick that plays from 80hz and then it can go higher to about 250hz so... I don't know. the RTA measurement looks good but the sensitivity is low. Maybe its not worth bothering further on into this project
