Hello,
I have some Martin Audio F2B subs with defective Drivers. I need 3 more working drivers. Does anyone know if ATC has recone Kits for this driver and if yes with which Article Number I asked them send them photos from back front and side of driver but did not get any answer. So I am trying to find used drivers. Does anyone have some Martin Audio L1540 or ATC PA 100-375 all of them are the same drivers differently branded. In Good working condition with no rubbing coil? Impedance measured with multimeter should be around 6 OHM. I would be happy about someone who could sell one or more of these drivers to me. Maybe someone knows where to find recone kits or let them be reconed. I am from Berlin Germany but would also pay shipping from other country's. Preferred would be a Location in Europe so Shipping is not that expensive Thanks in advance. Best Martin

HI,
which version of those ATC drivers do you have ? I would strongly consider to get new up to date drivers, you will achieve +6dB easily with better drivers. We can help you find the perfect driver if someone has a plan of the cab ?

i have no idea about the chamber size but yes, why not RCF L15 554K. Should be wayyy louder than the ATC ones

I think recone kits and service are still available from ATC. These are the Bass, Long Coil, 8 ohm version of the PA100-375. Be aware that these drivers have very narrow gaps, so re-coning should only be done by somebody with plenty of experience. The big restriction on driver type for an F2B is the depth of the chamber. There's just enough room for the original driver, so anything with a deeper basket / magnet assembly will not fit. |

Detailed plans that are similar to the original cana be found in this forum.
They are slightly different than the original. I ordered 8x B&C 15FW76 as new replacements they will be delivered in September but I need the speakers the L1540 in End of September running for a Stage to go on 16x WSX Oberton 18XB1500V2 loaded because the delivery for the 15FW76 will not come early enough. The 15FW76 has like nearly every modern Driver slightly more height. But I already planned how to put it in the F2B. 15FW76 outer Magnet DIameter is exactly 200mm so a Seal from a 200mm KG Pipe will fit perfectly around it. The Lid of the Backchamber will get a cutout for Holding the 200mm Sealing. The Aluminium backplate and pole hole will be on the outside of the cabinet allowing for better cooling and the backchamber will be airtight. The Back of the Magnet will be exactly flush with the outside of the cabinet. When made this modification I will make a post about it cause I think a lot of people are struggling to fit new drivers. As only the backchamber lid needs to be modified I think its an Interesting Modification allowing much better cooling for Driver and better performance of the speaker. The 4 F2Bs will be used to run with 16x WSX and 4x Martin Mach MS1262 later I want to upgrade to 8x F2B If someone has Martin Audio L1540 laying around i really would appreciate if I can buy these. Budući da treba modificirati samo poklopac stražnje komore, mislim da je to zanimljiva modifikacija koja omogućuje puno bolje hlađenje drivera i bolje performanse zvučnika. 4 F2B će se koristiti za rad sa 16x WSX i 4x Martin Mach MS1262, kasnije želim nadograditi na 8x F2B. I have four drivers, they were probably replaced by recones, since they look like new.
They have a DC resistance of 5.4 ohms.
