Just got a new BMS 18N850v2 and it's a black magnet, not a silver one. This isn't a problem, I think it looks great and possibly sorts some of the oxidation I got on some of the shiny magnet ones.

When did that happen? Are they all black now? Nothing on the website about this.

Edit: anyone know why it's rotating my pictures through 90deg on the forum?

They switched to black years ago.

To go off topic a bit. I am still waiting on some new high-end cone drivers from them. Seems like they are lagging a bit behind on that part.

The order was a bit mad for this actually. I phoned the UK distributor and asked them how long 'back order' was and they told me 8 weeks or so. I decided that, well if it's that long I'd better order it or it'll be the heat death of the universe by the time I get it and pulled the trigger...  ...2 days later it's on my doorstep. Does make me wonder exactly what kind of stock system they're running!

Edit: I should add that it was nice to get it sooner and I'm not demanding to wait 8 weeks LOL

Some of their cone drivers even dough 20 years old design are still beating the competition. Like 12N802. It will still outperform pretty much any modern 12 inch driver.
