If you give me a hug I might do it.

I don't think the access panel uses T-nuts, so I'd like to keep the number of times I take that sucker off down to a minimum so the wood doesn't get torn to bits
I'm curious too, so I might just suck it up, rip it apart and look. I know what's in there, but i have no idea what the driver inside looks like.... it's one of those mysterious 'no name CV' drivers whose specs elude everyone.

well I've got a surprise for you.

What's going on below: Behind the driver, the baffle board's double thickness apparently does not extend all of the way back, as you can see. This is a picture at the back of the internal chamber, behind the driver, looking up.

Something interesting:

The cabinet *IS* the same cabinet for the Earthquake, the EL-36,  so I'm not surprised. The only difference between the AB-36 and the EL-36 is the driver, the label on the back, and the front "heat sink" access panel.
crap diagram I made real quick, measurements are good. Note: Any measurement that go from or to one of the main outside panels, is measuring the *inside* of the main panel, IE: from bottom to the back corner of the chamber is measuring from INSIDE the horn, not taking into account the thickness of the outside wood. The baffle's length is measured from the outside front edge to the back inside edge. the measurements 26 1/2" and 20 1/4" are for the dotted lines, measuring the OUTSIDE corners of the mouth joints. It's not to scale, duh, but the numbers should be good. There is about 1" between the top left corner of the enclosure and where the mouth meets the outer panel at the top,

I suppose people really want pictures of the throat, where we can't see, behind the driver. I'll get to that later as I didn't have pliers or my sockets handy. There are studs that extend from the other side of the baffle through where the driver is just bolted to the studs.
