Hello, just started building my second 1850 horn, am positively suprised how easy it is now. 1st one was just bitch to put together but this one seems to be going wayyy easier. Particularly happy with the acces panel, I spent something like 2-3 days with the last one and the outcome was still unsatisfying. Is there any better way spending rainy day?
Comments?

Tested the older and this one yesterday with two bridged ep2500s and have to say they were frightening. Can't wait having them all four!

Why does it almost feel like there is no need for them to drop any lower than they go even when playing dubstep? They seem to be doing sooo lovely job with only that frequency range they do!

Dunno, some psychoacoustical things make people feel as if they really do go down to 30-40hz. Good to know you're having fun.
Away on extended leave.

Today during intense testing at small unused live music club (where I don't bother the neighbours) I noticed the low-low end lacking. I started thinking if my friends up and coming X1s would work with 1850s Big%20smile. I guess X1 upright (606mm wide, 800mm deep), 1850 (636mm wide, 750mm deep) on top of it upright also, and midtop on top of it would make kind of useful stack, cross x1 and 1850 between 50-60hz. I'm not saying I'd be using something like that always but would be interesting to try out.
