hi

i have build 4 b&c 15'' subs and am thinking to build 2 x12's for the mid/high section.
what i wanted to know is if there are other brands of drivers and horns that i can use
instead of the p.audio+selenium. the reason is that i cant find a shop online that will
send them here in cyprus.
also wanted to know if anyone knows a shop that can sell online the selenium hl 14-50 horn.
thank you

What makes of drivers can you get?  You could build them using B&C, 18Sound, Beyma.  Most of the big manufacturers will sell suitable drivers.  Just replace the horn with something you can get.  I recommend something by 18Sound personally.

They also have some some RCF drivers.  One of those will probably be suitable but I haven't used any of them myself.

If Thomann can actually get them, the PDN 12MH25 would be ideal as it's neodymium and lightweight too!

I would recommend using a 1.4" or 2" driver as a 1" driver will find it very difficult to keep up with two 12" high efficiency midrange drivers.  If you want to go down the 1" route I recommend building multiple single 12" + 1" boxes.

The BMS 4554 coupled with the 18Sound XT1464 could be a potentially very nice setup.  The 18Sound horn is very large so some redesign of the X12 baffle would be needed but well worth it.  I use that horn in my X12's and it's superb.
