so if you sim a trap cab with a round duct, you can sim it like a reflex but...if the airport have the same width of the cab...it's a bit horny..so to me should be better sim it with hornresp like a rear loaded horn @4pi. However pay attention to substract the cone volume to vtc, and to me should be better making another chamber for the top horn, in this way you can keep airtight the reflex chamber ;) .
What kind of top horn are you going to use?

here's the akabak sim@ 2pi...port simmed like a conical horn.
Woofer+handles+com+top horn about 8,5 liters. Seems this is the right cab for you but need damping for sure. ;)

if the sim is right my only problem would be that the woofer and horn dont meet each other well. right point would be 1khz and its too low for de250. but for a budget box it would work
