Built these myself at home then shipped to Jamaica and loaded there, just thought i'd do something different as i've never built these using aluminium extrusions before.
What's your thoughts? |

those racks looks great!
when you do antishocking flightcase like that, what you use to fix inner and outer box? I assume it's not only foam, especially the lower (ground) junction because the foam would squeeze under the weight. Or am I wrong...? |

I bought a 10u shockmounted with really sturdy foam in america and load it with about 90kg, it has taken the weight so far but as i have returned to the UK i don't know what it's like now, i will ask though. To answer your question about these, i used shockmounts that i had to attach between cases as the foam that i used is only to block the space between the inner and outer case. this is sturdy foam but not enough to take the weight of the amps displayed.
you can purchase the shockmounts from different suppliers with different built to suit your needs.
Thanks for the positive comments.

Hello Taurusty
The back is as the front but i have panels with sockets for speakers, line inputs, power input and fans (for cooling) that need to be put in place but the shippers messed up so i could not get it done, my brother will see to this.
You should see the panel i have for the console, everything that is on the mixer is on the console panel plus the power in.
The speakers i use are T18s loaded with PD1850S and my signature jbl 2226 scoop bins x 8 (started the sound with 15 inch drivers.
I flat packed some Hog Scoops and sent them to JA in the racks but as they came late i had to leave them, my Uncle is finishing these. the Hogs will be mixed with my revised version of the T18s (maybe on top, or maybe under the Hogs). the T18s will be built one beside the other instead of one top of the other.
One Digitech is for the Microphone (Looped in the Mixer = 2 mics), the other is to stagger the sampler from one column to the next.
I have another rack loaded with MX300a, etc plus another smaller console that's used for small gigs
