i am interested in getting a few of these done up soon. ionly have access to 18mm mdf at this moment and it doesnt bend! er i have seen these done with straight flare but am interested in how it was done/can be done.

like this.

i know id prolly have to omite the battons from the front and put a straight piece on either side with a mitre at each end to fit flush with the sides an ddriver panel [im guessing that looks like what hes done]

help? what angles? anyone got a revised plan to make it easier to use a straight piece of wood on either side? help!

coner the curves are easy just laminate up 3mm ply,as its easier to bend dont use straight boards as there are plenty of plans that use straight boards

haha! good point! my 4x12 did have em but they fell off!

the seller of the original 2 seems a bit elusive! [im guessing hes busy so ill keep trying!]

so it looks like i might build anyway.

er i have the 2x12" tops [they look v.much like mt102s or atleast similar] they dont look too hard to make to be quite honest with you! if no one can figure out how the sides were done ill get alitle bit of 3/4mm ply and do it the usual way! [im sure itd only take 2 sheets at the v.most for 2 2x12" flares]

were only going to use them this summer for a few little outdoor parties. then next year up comes something a little more interesting [punishers and x-tros] but we need a quick tekno fix!
