A little install I've been working on!

My first install of this kind.

Rack has: Zone mixer, 4 ch amp, Touch screen, DMX touchpad thing.
20 x 9w LED downlight fittings
15m x Strip LED light
2 x 22w IP67 fittings
6 x L2 im8h (or something) speakers
PC has 3 sound cards and multi zone audio software

A decent camera would have been nice! Most photos taken on a sunny day, it looks really good at night! Smile

Sorry, but I don't like it. The LED-colours look cheapish and do not fit in the interior (in my opinion).
The exterior looks very nice though.

Besides that, why did you use a on-the-road/touring rack in a installation??

Btw, how did you mount the screen in the rack? Looks really good this way...
And what speakers are they?

Cheers,

Teun

Have you used those Samson S Zone's before?

We put one in an install and have had right grief with the customer whinging about the sound - every time we go in, its because one of the managers is using the front panel 2 band eq's to cut/boost signal to the zones - currently trying to get them to fit a Cloud instead so they have less for their fingers to fiddle with!

Most of the photos were while we were testing the fittings, I wouldn't chose to have a bright green window for example! The leds are fading between colours every 6 mintues so the effect is quite subtle. I know what you mean about the look of LED lighting but I cant think of another way to have continuously fading colours from a single downlight fitting.

The main thing is that the owners are over the moon with the instillation!

The speakers are L2 Audio IM8H.

The S-Zone has been fine so far. They don't touch the EQ and they never really turn the system up very loud anyway.

Touchscreen was mounted into rack using a piece of ply with holes drilled through and bolted directly into the back of the monitor. Then painted with a million coats of tuffcab. I'll try get some decent pics, the rack looks really smart.

Love the rack and I think all bars should have this kind of mood lighting. Looks especialy good on brick work.
