You should be aiming for a two box system chaps, i would say get two more USB 2's and some mid top boxes that go down to around 150hz, the lower the better.

What settings are you using at the moment??

what brings you to this conclusion?

Might be simpler, but i see no wrong in what they have. Like the TMS4, its just a 15" short horn (like BS600 but slightly smaller) with a compact but efficient midtop section, above bass/sub horns.

Or is it because the USB2 is designed as a one box bass solution?

Thats the plan when we have the money. We had the MX350s before we even considered buying USB2s so the BS500s are there to fill the gap in the meantime.

We're currently running the USBs 40 - 90hz, BS500s 90 - 200hz and MX350s 200 - 18khz.

I'm trying to find some land in the middle of no where to get it set up properly with SMAART.

The man's right. the USB2 was optimized to work in a 2 cab configuration. No need for kicks!

Also you should high pass the USB2 at 30Hz in x4. They will play upto 140Hz easy. You will need the correct filter settings to get them sounding sweet as they have a rising response above 90 Hz.

When we have the funds we will be getting 4 more USB2s and some mid tops that will comfortably meet them. I know the USB2 doesn't need a kick bin, but unfortunately they dont play up to 200hz to meet the 10" in the MX350s so the BS500s are there to play the frequencies between.

I think if we high passed them at 30hz in that tiny room the windows would have broken LOL.

They were designed on the principal of a one box bass solution so yea i would move towards this if there is room for improvements.

I would also recommend running the usb 2's as low as possible to avoid any of the horn honking that is so common it this type of design... so yea around 150hz max if needed.

Sounds like you guys are going to have a load of fun with these, just make sure you use the correct RCF drivers if you get any more as this is key to this horn.

Must catch up in the summer for some big link up action LOL
