Shame not the original speakers, very well built cabs.. gonna load them up with some new cones and see how they sound.

Indeed,with the original drivers they would be a lot of money now.

I believe the Lowther drivers had a very low x-max,of just a couple of mm,so relied on the horn enclosure for bass entirely?

Yup - those original drivers (PM6 was it ?) fetch _serious_ money on the bay ..... Japanese etc, go nuts for em.
REMEMBER....POLITICIANS AND DIAPERS SHOULD BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON
