Looking at buying 4x channel lightweight, capable of 4x 800W-1kwpc @ 4 ohms (Non sub use obviously).

tsa 4700 is 4 x 810w @4ohm , used price is under 300€. ld deep 4950 about 350€. dont know if you like this cheap ones...

Ive just had a used, more or less mint Void QX6 in , 4 x 1200w @ 4Ω if it is of any interest Ray...still 9 months left on the warranty too. Has the active crossover card installed as per the matrix 6004 eq.

They can not handle 2 ohms load or 4 ohms briged mode, despite what thomann tells us, but at 4 or 8 ohms there wont be any heat-problems! some of them are noisy in the upper frequencies, so check that befor buying a used one. |

The noise in the highs seems to be a result of them having too much gain. I have one which I run with the gain pots set to about half-way running bi-amped tops and it works great.
As said above, doubt it will be happy at 2 ohms but mine has run 4 ohms all night on mid-high no problem (warm but not hot). Front to rear airflow if that helps.

XT6004EQ goes for about £900. Lovely sounding amp that can do bass.
The LD 4950 is torroids so not lightweight. |
