Hi all,
I am new here and I am planning to build my very first Mid top. Does any one have a plan for MT208? Someone said that I can just use the original MT122 design and proportionate it to fit for a 8" driver however I am not sure how to do it. I really appreciate all your response. Cheers!

Thanks Craving! I already saw the plan however I think it is too wide for my setup.. Is it possible to make it as compact as possible?

One thing you have to understand is that as soon as you change one dimension from an original plan, it is not nearly the same thing as the original (other than very small changes)
It is the relationship between the dimensions in the horn that create the horn effect/response. So simply changing the proportion will mean a different relationship in the dimensions, and a completely different effect. Which will most likely be nothing like the original. So in short you cant really just scale any cabinet down

 plus 1, I done a 10" version for another forum member, but need more than scaling down to work the same, it didn't play as low. don't no how he got on with the build... |

I have seen a 10 but not an 8 yet the results would be extremely interesting as were trying to build a really low budget system but as compact as possible :) I will be watching this with interest ! :)
