Good day my fellow friends

I am in need of a small mixer for corporate stuff etc and 4 mic inputs max is what I am looking for. This mixer does look nice and well priced. Has anyone have any feedback on this unit.

If size isn't an issue I would go for the EPM 6  (or EFX 8 if you want the FX) over the notepad, internal psu (not a wall wart) being the first major point, followed by faders rather than rotary pots, a better specc-ed eq section, more auxs (recording, etc) insert points....

Hi James

I do have a soundcraft fx16 and like it but I feel it to big to carry around when only using 1 or 2 mic channels. I also looked the A&H Zed10fx. what do you think?

These are the default "small corporate etc" desk in my neck of the woods, for exactly the reasons stated.
That said, I still don't like how frustrating it is to try and work with only a single (wide) swept mid - if I had my way every desk with less than 2 swept mids would be banned!

Other than still not having faders, these look a lot better than the Notepad.
Disclaimer - haven't used any A&H since the GL2400, so don't know what the quality of their newer/lower end stuff is like.

Using a Yamaha MGP12x, honestly couldn't say how it compares to other recent gear, but does pack a load of onboard FX I'm familiar with (Rev-7 & spx).

The A&H Zed mixers are pretty shitty IMO.
Wouldn’t spec any again.

I’d be looking at the smaller Soundcraft Signature desks, which are actually pretty good.

dylan plus 1. I ment high pass (beer) I would take a Yamaha over the A H But the soundcraft arn't that expensive and are way better that the zed I would say I have all three. There is something wrong with the gain on the allen. Just can't get the volume without maxing the faders. I think it is really a studio mixer. For amature artists. Could be wrong.
