Long time listener, first time caller.

I have seen some discussion of rewiring speakons to use bridge mode on amps.

I'm using a proline 3000 which has a dedicated bride output and I use it with standard nl4.

Am I doing something wrong?
Do I need to do something differently?

Nah all fine with dedicated bridge output. Double check the manual if you're in any doubt, but I suspect that it will be wired on +1 -1 on a dedicated speakon output.

Some models like qsc rmx use output one for bridge but on pins +1 and +2 iirc

Much appreciate the swift response. I had thought it was a bit odd that I'd require alternative wiring to use a pre-existing feature. Cheers!

Any time! I ran into that issue so I have to have dedicated bridge wires with each end labelled.. poor practice if you ask some, but I don't mind for now. At least for now it's not an issue as it's only ever me or two mates wiring up. Maybe I'll make that patch panel I've been thinking about for far too long.
