Maybe try bectu ?
It's like a union for the entertainments industries, but they have super cheap 10mil PLI and kit insurance for members.

Be cautious with bectu insurance - several companies I freelance for will not accept it as PLI due to previous issues surrounding claims. A friend missed a bectu subs payment and lost cover on the policy, despite having paid for the policy for the year.
Tysers (nee doodsons, intergro) are the industry leaders with a good track record of sorting things properly when things go wrong. The price difference is worth my peace of mind.

We use the Allianz policy via Tysers.

Tysers who used to be Doodsons are the sensible option to build a relationship with.

Not the cheapest but we have had to make claims in the past and they have been exactly what you would want in the situation.
