I tried searching a few times for posts that answered this query but nothing shows up.

I recall from some time back that there is someone out there who can and does repair older Matrix amps e.g. UKP series, STR's and so on.

Member Sinfinity on here worked for Matrix I believe and may know a repairer but, he's not been active since 2021.

Can anyone point me to the right person please?

Thanks,

Steve

I used a guy called Roland in Salford for my STRs. No idea if he's still doing things like that. Was a long while ago...

Roland is the original matrix man! He designed the ukp and str ranges. Last time I dropped something off with him, he told me he'd had enough of transistor amps and only wanted to fix valve amps... That was at least a decade ago...
blah blah blah blah blah......

Thanks to everyone who replied.

I contacted Chris at DiscoFix today as suggested by DJ- Dulux.
He was friendly and helpful and used to work for Matrix so has worked on many of their amp models.

I'll visit him in the near future and take the 3 amps I have with faults for his assessment.

Cheers everyone Smile
