Do any mods need to be made to the super scoop design in order for this driver to perform well ?

Yes.

Turn it into a shortman scoop. Or build a hog and tell us what it sounds like in that...

have you already got the drivers? if not, get some v18-1000s instead. They own in supers, no mods required.

pap will get you the 1000 if you ask, as an aside the 1000 was designed for horns and bandpass, whereas the 1200 is almost entirely for scoops if im not mistaken....
I think they may own your soul in a hog scoop!!!

That has yet to be tested, and I'm not so sure. The hog has a small chamber and levytes 'v18-1200 test results' thread shows that high VAS drivers need larger chambers to stretch out. I think this will be the scoop for 1000s, 1850s and turbomaxs, but only a build and group test will show us... Heathrow? Insomnia? Tony? Anyone? Big%20smileBig%20smile
