Roger squire eliminator bins

   I was given these for the price of a couple of pints, they will be totally rebuilt.
However I need to replace the drive units.
I was thinking about the Eminence Delta-15A, any other ideas.
and yes ...they are as heavy as they look

	you should send those drive units to the fane museum! im sure eminence deltas will be fine in those, or perhaps a celestion

	How old are those? must be at least 30 years old. Looks like they've been well looked after!

	Disco-tastic! The Squires "eliminator" bin was a smaller copy of the Electrovoice w-bin,but shame oh shame,Squires made it out of chipboard covered in vinyl to save money,hence the daft weight...these date from about 1978. A good driver for these would be a couple of old EV 15L if u could find them.Old JBL "k" series work quite well to....modern gear i think the delta`s would be fine. 	Make sure that you change the jack sockets for speakons as that cabinet had a nasty habit of blowing the jack plugs out of their sockets.

	I had 4x 'Orange' Eliminators with the EV15L's and 4x Celestion HF horns in each cab...............800w that sounded more like 2k, very very efficient. Those squires will be great if finished well!
	.....you might also look for her companion, a large Chinese rabbit, who is easy to spot since he is only standing on his hind feet in the shade of a cinnamon tree...

	I had some Marshal ones, with two horns in the middle bit, first 15's afer a life of 2 x 12's, circa 1977. Bought them and they were blown! Seem to remember buying some drivers from Saxon Disco in Croydon. Very efficient loud little buggers. Would something very similar not be the ultimate, "Retro" kick bin on top of scoops/mini scoops?

	you see them occasionally with a comp driver attached & a couple of piezo's, who needs clear midrange eh? Many of the disco's I attended as a youth had that style of W bin.

	There you go Dan,these were the ulimate hi-end disco speakers back in the 70`s!..bloody expensive too...probually about £1000 a pair back then,that was about 4 months wages.
