Jesus that's a big list full of some nice and not so nice speakers.
I'm a bit overwhelmed - what do you want to know? Do a search on the forum as well. PS Mr Startec chose an unfortunate name - I already have an amp rack full of Quad Acoustics ![]() |

I have heard this combination and I can tell you that it has a really good punch. A very clear and probably versatile rig which will sound good with a varied range of music. Its very loud too! I have also heard some opus stuff and must say it has a very good open sweet sound. Maybe not the loudest because it is mostly/all bass reflex designs. What are you trying to achieve? Are you trying to decide what to buy? Matt |

quad acoustics are one of the oldest and most respected hifi makers in the world - im sure they would not be too pleased to find somebody else using the name they have used for 60 or so years!

Opus AT2000 Mid/Top cabs: To this day I still Can't belive how good they sound I heard them in a live band suitation, Set up and supplied by by Garry @ Zique audio. Have never even heard a home Hi-Fi sound that good.
I have a few Opus cabs:
4 x SB218's basic NICE! sound
2 x SB221's tight 21" Bass (cabs too small)
2 x HB415's GREAT! sounding kicky tight bass with medium throw with 221's very good
2 x SB215's NICE! sounding doubls 15"
4 x CS1200 Mid/top Cabs Powerfull Clear & lould (4X10"+2")cabs
4 x CS750's Mid/Top cabs Very clear and great quality
2 x MP550's very verysharp (designed for stage wedges)
2 x PSD600's due concetric single12" with HF in center of driver very nice and clear not very lould but dose a great job for infills,D.J.monitors and stage wedges.
Hope this helps

Ok if you need supply a nice sounding system for 300/500 people Opus is fine but thats it.
If you want to start doing big events you need so much kit it starts to become very hard work.
There cabinets are made from 25mm Ply and there amps are 43kg each !!
I sold all my opus cabinets and went hornloaded
