Just hooked my ASS sp1's up in my bedroom for monitoring duty- wow! They've just replaced some old tannoy stratfords and the difference is huge, even run off my puny quad 303 amp. For the kind of music I play they absolutely wipe the with the tannoys. Sharper, clearer and loads more "punch"- techno, breaks, funk, house and electro all sound much much better.

Colour me pleased
the only thing more dangerous than a person who doesn't give a f**k is a person who gives a sh*t.

Once you get some ASS you never go back!!  I'm after some SP2s to use as monitors on the gigs and then some SP1s for my living room.

I have noticed that Tony seemed to discard ply or MDF and used granite instead!

One the reasons my 4x RX18s had to go.
