QuestionHas anybody some infos about the subs on the following pic?

Peshkov Sub

All i know is, that the drivers are 18Sound 12LW1400 and that the subs are made by Max Peshkov.

Is it a scoop, tapped horn or advanced reflex loaded sub?

Frequency range?
Dimensions?
Response plots?
Hornresponse input data?

yeah, i also think that it's a to the size of an th mini downscaled hog scoop.
in this case it won't play to deep. th mini would go deeper i think...?

why 3 very small hogs instead of a bigger 1?

i was thinking today to build a smaller dub system for home use cause i wanna store my system and not leave it in my living room, but i guess i can just make a reflex bin and a midtop and be happy with it for home dubbing

they look great! the mid top cab is quite interesting too, slot loaded woofers on kick, part of a tms cab on mid and an rcf horn above it? but yeah, bass bins are cuddly, makes for a really tidy looking stack.

james.

edit: forgot to mention, if you look closer in the picture you can see the stack is infact powered by hampsters...

on a purely theoretical approach (the worst) surely increase quants will give higher SPL than fewer cabs?? a;though your trade offs might maker this pointless...

Also was it discussed that the hog may well be creating a tapped effect? maybe these are to acjieve a good bass response - be good to see some plots.

just trying to muddy the waters.

Hey guys!
I tried to downscale a HOG Scoop to the size of a TH Mini and simulated it with an 18Sound 12LW1400 in Hornresponse. Here are the results:

HOG Scoop
The downsized version has following outer dimensions:
610x587x381mm (24x23x15inch)

HOG Scoop downscaled - 18Sound 12LW1400 - Hornresponse Input Data
HOG Scoop downscaled - 18Sound 12LW1400 - SPL
black = 1x
grey = 3x

Here is the same as above but in a ES-15BLH Micro Scoop enclosure.

ES-15BLH Micro Scoop
downsized dimensions:
610x496x381mm (24x19,5x15inch)
ES-15BLH Micro Scoop downscaled - 18Sound 12LW1400 - Hornresponse Input
ES-15BLH Micro Scoop downscaled - 18Sound 12LW1400 - SPL
black = 1x
grey = 3x

Okay guys!
I've modelled an ARLS-Clone with the 18Sound 12LW1400... maybe thats the secret behind the Peshkov sub.

So, to remember, here is the original ARLS plan, so that everybody knows what i'm talking about:
Original ARLS - Kappa-15LFA

Here is my Peshkov ARLS:
Peshkov ARLS - 18Sound 12LW1400 - Hornresponse Input Data
Peshkov ARLS - 18Sound 12LW1400 - SPL
black = 1x
grey = 3x
