Was thinkin it's be rude not to go to this ... and take my 12v trolly system.

"undercover of daylight" ... hehe. its a great idea. Not sure what to expect really. I wonder if its cheating to bring 2 usbs and porn horns and power them from car amps? - Not really portable

Mind you might go windsurfing insead. I'l let the weather decide

Just put this together last night, my updated PA speakers on a trolley

Pair of kenwood bridged amps, 200W @ 8 ohms each, both have crossovers too.

Not tested field tested it yet, but with one amp i got 6 hours at full whack off the 88AH battery....may need a second battery.

What's the score with a pair of battery's? Is it fine to simply parallel wire them? Anything I should be aware of?

you may need to get heavier duty wiring as the two in parallel can give out more amps as well .. something to bear in mind Smile

Porn? ... well when I turned up there was just a single pile of hifi speakers and a couple car sub boxes strapped together running off 12v car amps... VERY dissapointed. Lots of krusties and dogs and it was raining so I left.

I'm not sure if anyone else turned up with better rigs.. It was still going at 7pm on sunday, 24hours later! I took some photos but they don't warrant my time and effort uploading and posting them.

bit of a shame, need more geeks next time.

I recon 12v speakerplans soundclash!

bring it on! our bike trailer pa is alive and well, but we'd want to get the new system ready for a clash and seeing as deadlines are the only way i tend to get stuff done i'd love to see this happen.
