Why does everyone love the T18? By all accounts it's got a far
from flat frequency response, doesn't go very low, what's the
attraction?

hi men@work while i was snooping about i found a plan for twin 18's they look good and abit better then the t18 plan to me but i could be wrong so check it out.... also someone else has had another plan which looks simular to the t18 (called the ES18) for a pd driver maybe that would sound nicer? i couldnt find any graphs for the es bin but maybe someone else could help |

es18-bph perchance? nothing like it mate, plus it uses a p-audio sd-18.
i currently have 6 18" xb drivers in my bedroom (being stored for a friend) and i was thinking of building a pair of es18-bphs, a pair of tsw118s and a pair of t-18s and comparing their various merits, possibly even an achenbach or two in there to really get the apples amongst the oranges. would be good science. james. |
