is that how you normally stack the system.
if so look up how best to avoid comb filtering / phase cancellation and how to best delay the top boxes to the bass cabinets theres plenty on this forum if you search around good luck |

Question is, what is the best? There will always be something better in someone else's eyes. FACT. |

hi mate thanks for your input. i usually stack it like in the 2nd and 4th pick upright without the kick bins.in the 1st and 3rd pic i just stacked it up with the kick bins on the outside just for the photo. so the rig would fit together flush ish cus the kicks are slighty wider than ik horns. i really need 2 more ik horns and 2 more kick bins then i can stack it up better and more even when its all in one stack. them ik horns are hard to find but i will hunt then down ther was a few on hear a little wile ago but i had no cash at the time. i use them when i do two stacks 4 ik horns each side with one 115 sitting on top sounds good they give out some nice kick bass. i have a delay on my rane x over but it has the tops and bins going through the same one i supose i could get another one and hook it up just through the tops.i no what you mean buy the delay the ik horns have a reall long horn probebly about 8 feet or so whats the best wey of working out how much delay on the tops i need to mach the bins. any help greatly appreciated thanks |

Was this the rig being used at 'Drity Knees' Last friday ?? I was there, sounded good i thought, looked good too. Only thing i thought is could of had a bit more 'sparkle' on the top end. Could of been to do with source material or the fact the top cabs were high up & i was missing it on the dance floor..
Also heard this rig at ' Orepool fest' last year (asuming it was the same rig) can remeber waking up to the sound of Oldskool & D&B around the site at 10-11am on the Saturday, put a big smile on my face :0) Sounded emence, if anything i thought it gave the martin audio rig from the other tent a run for its money. I know what id rather buy (& have change left over lol)

I've got QSC PLX's in my monitor racks for the hf and it would take something very special for me to consider changing them. I'm sure somebody was selling some plx's recently in the for sale section.

You might want to get your ukps looked at, shouldn't be getting hot running into an 8 ohm load...
