This is my usual venue
![]() On the main back railing is 4x Abstract Futurescan 150s evenly spaced, on the smaller balcony is usually a single VRX. I'm thinking a centrepiece and/or a couple of moonflower types won't go amiss, what do you think? Any recommendations?

yeah chuck all that stuff out off the balcony - massive fire hazzard.
look at the lanta LED moving heads and scanners - LED light source cheap as chips and you can run of a 13a all day long...
maybe even a configuration of battens.
and use Haze it makes a light show - if you dont have haze then personally just use static heads...

I have haze, well smoke anna fan. The stuff on the balcony is cool, there's no ignition sources close by. That said half of it is being skipped anyway.

Wouldn't that bad boy be overly bright and well make the Futurescans disappear lol. Also reckon it'll be at the right tilt on that railing? Looks to me like it was going overhead heading.

yes it is terribly bright, but each of the 8 beams compares nicelys with a 150w discharge profile lightsource (minimac/vr8r), i use it vertically on truss (heavy thing!!!) and works well. Take the mirror spinner off for band stuff, stick it on for dance stuff.
I need to give it a good cleanout and checkout if you were actually interested, hasnt been used for a year or so!!
