I have used the 12" wedge version ( TXD 121M ?) on many occasions - nice little box at a fairly good price... No clue about how hard it is to toast the drivers, but the build quality seems good..

Yes, the pricing is good and does look nicely built, was just wondering about
the drivers.

Stik_Sounds wasn't impressed by the sound of the TXD series. Personally for the money they cost I'd look alsewhere like at Proel TFLV series, they are the same price as the Turbosound TXD series, but much much better. Either that or build your own.

Personally I'd avoid the Turbosound TXD series, over-priced and they don't sound that nice, quite harsh ear splitting highs and mids sounding when I demoed them at Wembley PA centre. And the drivers are only steel frames, no cast frame drivers. Only things that stands out as quality is the 15mm birch ply cab and the Turbosound name. Proel TFLV series sound niceeeeee and use cast frame drivers by B&C and their own custom ones too.

So NOT always pricey things are good.

These Proel TFLV15P8 for instance as same price as the Turbosound TXD151, but sound much nicerrrrrrrr than the TXD and are well more rugged, cast frame 18mm birch ply cabs, etc.

Having heard both these cabs when I demoed them. And the Proel TFLV15P8 sounded amazing compaired to the harsh sounding Turbosound TXD151.
