Hi Rog or anyone im looking to build 4 of these T-18 cabs, check out the link.. www.electrovoice.com/electrovoice/EVfiles.nsf/lookup/T18/$Fi le/T18-eds.pdf They will be used indoors 2 per side, or may be 3 a side.First question is how to get hold of the designs so ican see how complex they are, and second wuestion is, wha to load them with? At the moment E.V use 400w drivers, but i was thinking of beefing them upto something like PD186,or PD1850 ? What you think guys! CAN YOU HELP ME !!!!!

Hi, The drivers in these cabs are the same as the ones in our MTL-2s and MTL-4s. They are a good driver, as long as you give them a clean signal, and feed them with at least 600 to 800 watts per driver. As to the plans, i havent seen any for this particular cab. |

I've looked inside one of those T18's once and the 400 watt EV driver only had what looked like a 2.5 or 3" coil. Uuurrgghhh. Ram a V18 up its arse. I think 1850 horn may be better for you. What music are you playing. |

Yea thoes orignal E.v cabs are limited power, they sound wicked using all the E.v bits, eg,Digital cross over etc. But for us boys where we want raw BASSS !!! I will be playing a mix of music, garage, drum n bass, hip hop want ever the crowd wants,(indoors tho) the other boys around here are using the Kilomax 18 in them, im not to keen on Eminence! or they have the Wembly B-Line box lodaed with PD 1850 or again Kilomax. Im just scared that a PD or Viper driver might KILL the break the box to peices!! Depends on my budget for the drivers, anyone got cheap set of 4 Viper 1000's goin !!!or PD1850,anything around 800Watts set of four please??
