yellow,
need some help with xover, as i have not finished building cabs and woukd like to get reggae preamp built. to suit these boxes
il be using
pd123er's
BMS 4550 1"comp...
with rcf HFf64
little help with thius would be very nice..

if you have the means i would suggest taking acoustic measurements when you have finished the cabs in order to derive xover points. but if not then the designer has posted some useful information in this thread... http://forum.speakerplans.com/mt122-plot_topic24135.html

that would be ideal mikey, if i could measure before getting pre built. but still building cabs and want the preamp on the go. that thread is good same drivers and stacked the same way but comp driver is different

in that case you might be better off getting an lms and a cheap mixer, then upgrading to a preamp when you have some concrete xover settings.
you will also have to take into account time alignment. this is something an lms can do but not a preamp, as far as i know. |
