finished recording drums yesterday, heres what I had on them.


Are the those ev n/d 408's, got two of them myself love them on guitar amps or toms (if you trust the drummer)

i can never remember which model the EV are, there 2 types i have another one aswell, and yes great on drums, prefer them over those plastic sennheiser jobbies anyday of the week.
i just need more of everything though!

Sounds good Dave, which festival is this if you don't mind me asking? Mic's seem to always be the kit in short supply!

I'll start the begginers collections off Embarrassed had to stick a couple of DI's in there to fill it out LOL

Unfortunately I actually can't be bothered to get all my mics out of the case and take a photo but I've got about 30 in total.  My Beyer M201's are some of my favourites, along with the Sennhesier E945 and AKG D7 vocal mics.

The EV mics are ND408's with the rounded grills and probably ND308's for the flattened one.  I believe the main difference is the pick-up pattern.  I've got three ND408's, they work really well on Beyer Opus rim clamps BTW!  Used to use them for toms but now use E904's instead because they're easier.  The EV's are very good on brass, sax etc too.
