looking for a new pc monitor, also to also watch films on (no gaming). what do people recommend, LCD, LED, IPS????
did see this and thought it looks good but am not clued up with the tech part |

I use a Asus LCD Monitor - VH242S..
I use it for gaming, watching films, picture editing and film editing..Pretty good for around £120 |

You'll want to be looking for: 1. High contrast (blacks are actually black, whites are bright) 2. 1080p resolution. No need to go higher for casual computer use / movies 3. Screen size 23"-27". It's best to go for a smaller monitor but higher quality in my view. Whats your budget? |
