15" + 2" plan ideas

Im starting to plan a new project for when I finnish my current summer madness build
I have a pair of 2x15+2" cabs at the momment
 
The plan is to split them into 4 cabs and have them as 4x 15"+2 so we can use them just in pairs or all 4 at once for more coverage
 
Id like them to be able to sit ontop of a 2x15 kick cab in a 4 way system but also if flexable enough be able to go ontop of a GSUB in a 3 way set up.........
 
I've looked around but there isnt really anything ive seen thats great
 
 
The drivers are jbl 2226 15s and a P.Audio 2" CD if it makes a dif
 
any help or direction would be good

HOW ABOUT THIS IM BUSY BUILDING ME 4 OF THESE CABS BUT INSTEAD OF A 15" AND 12" OR 10" IM GOING TO BE USING 2 15" SUBWOOFERS

Will they always be used over some kind of bass bin, or do you need them to be able to produce at least a bit of bass on their own?
 
If they'll always be used with separate bass, then even a sealed box will get those drivers down to about 91Hz which should be low enough to cross into a sub. You'd want a net internal volume of around 48.4l for that (from WinISD), which would keep them nice and compact.
 
If you want more of a full range box, you might look at the JBL SR4726X - that was about the largest 2way box they used that driver in, so if you go for similar dimensions and tuning you should get a pretty useable result.

OK SO THE BOXES IS COMPLETED I TESTED IT DIDNT SOUND TO BAD I MUST STILL PUT SOME HIGH FREQUENCY DRIVERS TO IT BUT IM GOING TO REALLY PUNCH IT THIS WEEK AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS WILL UP PICS BY NEXT WEEK
