Been wanting to have a crack at anodising for ages and with a friends birthday coming up I thought a custom Minirig would be a nice thing to make! Really enjoyed the process although there are a couple of minor imperfections that I've conveniently hidden from view! Shame about the crap camera phone pic but the lines are perfectly sharp and the colours bright.

No unfortunately not, need to start documenting my projects!

Just cut 4" aluminium tubing to size, drilled holes then sent them off for anodising without sealing. Dipped the one on the right in purple dye on one side and green on the other to get a gradient. Cut the design out of acrylic and stuck it on and dipped it in black dye, then boiled to seal.  The web stuff is polygons from a model of a tornado!
