Hi there, I would imagine original plans for the ASS BS500 are not publicly available  however there is pictures of DIY builds for this cab online witch makes me think someone must have them weather they got them from taking a cab to bits or whatever... even the plans for the BS1200 would do and I'll just chop it in half.

can anyone help?

many thanks

Indeed.. Those pics are some some BS1200s chopped down. In the thread they are from originally, you'll notice that Bee says "don't ask me for measurements for a plan".

You'll just to wait and find some for sale, like the rest of us.

I know where to buy some if you're keen as mustard on getting hold of some. They are extremely good cabs, I like them a lot.

You'd have to search for ever if you were looking for plans. The reason--- there aren't any. Drawings usually existed and were produced by designers when someone else as a subcontractor was making them. When you design and make your own stuff, there's no need for a piece of paper with a drawing on. As said time and time again on here. My references are Jigs and patterns and a cutting sheet that gives us panels for the jigs. These are jigs for an overhead router.
I actually organized the first drawings for Turbosound TMS series, They needed them because they didn't make cabinets and had to rely on people like me to manufacture them. F1 would be in the same boat I would imagine. I can't stop people ripping other people off but I would encourage other people to do what I did. Do your own.

yes these where pics from the refurbishments on the cabs, jigs where made to make new side panels and repair existing panels. The jigs i made are long gone, they got destroyed after i finished the job..... I asked Tony before i undertook this job if it was ok...... The total time it took to make jigs and rebuild these cabs was just over 4 weeks.......

original thread can be found hear......

The work and time it took to do, as you can imagine was not about money, and if i was to of charged by the hour would of been cheaper to buy 4 cabs in working order.

The reason i undertook this job was to get 2 cabs that where fit for a bonfire back to there former glory, and to see if i could do what was a near impossible job.....
