New thread, last one was a bit messy!
Some pics of the latest addition to the system. Bee's AKA Element Audio's custom built/designed 115 Kick bins. These will be sat above two TAS 218's with BMS loaded MT's above. I'm sure your all agree the build is top notch and these kick like a mule! Very happy, well done Ben. Knet also has another of these, also PD loaded built and designed for this years Notting Hill Carnival

Just a couple of Pics taken from last Friday night, Bar Rage tour @ Envy nightclub Luton. Luton sound man came down and gave me a hand which was much needed with all those stairs! 1st outing with the new kicks Bee designed and built me, very impressed overall. Had an 'issue' with two of the subs later on so I dropped the kicks down to 50hz and they did me proud as bass bins too. The event was ever challenging with the onslaught of annoying 'MC's' - turn the mic up sound engineer bollocks as usual. 300 sweaty punters pretty much all night, everybody left happy so success all in all!
Luton flexing his 'guns' lol! Bit blurry but you get the idea... Amp rack: DBX 480, PL 2.0, PL 4.0, Inf 8 mk2 (separate flight case!!!)

Just found some old system shots...oh the memories!
Fist ever system. JBL tops 2206/2445 loaded, PD 1550 kicks, Fane 18xb ported horns..looking back on it was a nice little system! Tops were originally IK tripple 12"s that I converted to make into top boxes Paul made us some lovely grills... Ha ha..we put this lot in a 300 cap pub and the system only got bigger, thought I was the don with that lott! My first build: G subs 184 loaded with the butchered IK tops.. BBQ Rig! G sub build Fixed castors!! Oh dear! |

Little wedding install we done this morning at Oakley hotel-Windsor. Two BSW 115 kicks with a freshly sprayed Martin F15 on top-well done me!
(IGNOR THE MAPLIN SOUND SYSTEM NEXT TO IT, BELONGS TO THE REGGA BAND???) RTA the system no eq, virtually flat...sounded lovely :0) Guys from the 'Regga band' who brought god knows how many speakers in couldn't get over our sound. Oh well you cant polish a turd, even if you have most of maplins sound stock! Back on the road to pick this lott up on my jacks..cheers AV LEE |

I love what you've done to the IK cabs and can't understand why no one else has done the same considering how many of them about

Cheers, to honest the way they came about was lack of funding really. I bought a load of them (IK triple 12's) from Average Joe (remember him) for a monkey. Most of the drivers were battered/damaged and I didn't have money to buy new drivers or re-cone them and buy some top boxes too. I've got a love for old JBL boxes, done some research and basicity put two and two together found some horns locally from Knet who has now become a very close friend of mine and the rest is history I guess. Im now a fully fledged speaker junkie
Eventually had a successful scrap run at work, bought some kicks from Ken, Super Hero sold me some nice subs and Killerhurtz was born!
