Working on some plans for a double 12 horn but with the 12 angled apart instead of on same plane....

Any suggestions on spread angle welcome.  THe horns are to the TDA specs

you could get both drivers closer together by making the centre flare shorter by half.... this will help both 12" couple in the horn.....

I thought about that but was going for wider dispersion.
Also that doesnt bring them that much closer, maybe 1-2 cm, but does make overall box width much shorter.
In you example, would S2 in hornresp be smaller since centerline of box truncates one side? or would it be modeled as one horn with two divers? if so how?

Model as two horns into one. Don't think it can be modelled in horn resp, I would sim it in akabak

I couldnot for the life of me figure out how to run akabak.
Tried standard CMD prompt, Dos Box and other emulators
What the best way to run it?

Also, If there  was no center divider , couldn't it be run as one horn in hornresp thru Driver Config?

I am still following the wider dispersion route, what is the standard dispersion angle (dependent on freq I assume?) of MT122 horn?  how much should I overlap/underlap these horns to get good even coverage?

20 degrees from memory, I've not been able to find a way of running it on windows 7, I got an old laptop running windows 95... Would love to get it working on 7, from what I now 7 won't run any dos based program's even with an emulator...

even with the centre divider it could be simmed thru driver config. if you model a single driver horn approx half the size you'll find a multiple cab sim to be almost identical to a dual driver horn.

run a polar map using the directivity tool. as you'll see the dispersion changes as the freq increases.
What are the benefits to you of having a dual cab as apposed to 2xsingles?
