Just curious. Does anyone want to try and arAnge a day to show there gear, hear other people's and try different amps on your equipment? I recon it would be a good idea, get a perspective with an array of different cabinets is always a winner. :)

Im up for it, its been done before on fsp at henesys in north london. I think bee organised it. I can sort out a 1000 cap venue in Woking for it if theirs enough interest. Mods would be better moving this to the general section.

This is where I first met Ben. Things were talked about after, but nothing ever happened. would still be a good idea. We could do a mini GP, or a larger one if we book Wembly.

I can get a night club called Quake in Woking for very little, cover the owner opening up and any bar staff if required. It's a big venue, 1000 cap and myself, Knet and Bee have put some stupid size systems (50k +) in their before so noise isn't a problem. Loading through double doors straight onto the floor makes life easier too, i.e. no Golden palace lift situation at the end when everyones tiered and wants to get home! Its not that close to me, Midlands wouldn't be a great deal of difference in distance although. If somebody has a better option I'm all up for that.

location and date is very important, January is a good month to do a meet, and an organised event with a couple of people doing sound (swapping over cabs to a/b etc) this worked very well for the first fsp meet, the second meet failed due to doing it too late in the year, a lot of people did not make event due to rig commitments....maybe a few complete systems from across the genres, but playing music from different genres (not just one), or even a demo of how to time align a system etc, for the guys that all ways ask (just ideas).... or even a shoot out type of event, one big named brand system, vs 3 unbranded diy rigs.... I was just talking of like a day where all us techies can get to one place and show everyone the gear, like.a whole days worth. Or we can have a big shoot out and try fit as many big systems in a club for a decent night. But a big club so we can get whole systems in, without having to share space or do jumble sale link ups.
