Hello

I stumbled upon some pictures of a 3 way top the other day. But I couldn't find the find the plans for it. So I would just like to know if anyone has got them Smile

From what I know, It uses a 12" for the LF, 8" for the mid in a RCF H6000 flare and a 1" HF.

Here's the pic

doubt the low/mids meets the mids properly...
(would need to be crossed higher than they play well)

The 8" flare looks like the RCF H6000 Phase Plug Horn for MR8N301

I'm pretty sure it is the H6000 with a RCF MR8N301 driver.

He uses very nice components, shame that all but his 3way top are made from crappy fibre board. His grills are quite nice.

Are they supposed to be standalone boxes?
Because if not then the hybrid horn priciple is totally redundant.
Small closed box and you would have something, the port addition will be almost none att crossover around 80-100hz.

And also I would put the treble horn as close as possible to the mid, make then act more as one source.
But the idea is a good one, and it seems fairly compact too.

What are you guys thoughts on the fairly uneven load on the cone?
