Hi guys, got a pair of V1200's but need to free up some space in lock up, currently have 2 186 and an 1850 for bass but want to use smaller cabs that will meet our es18 and mt121s

Have a Matrix XP3000H on sub duty for now but next step up is either a 10k or inf8 for designated sub bass.

Really, what I'm asking is what the best sub box is for a small but powerful SPL that will work with V1200 and similar drivers.

Have looked at shortman scoops but don't know if the drivers are suitable. Any help?

Cheers

compact bass solution = reflex
scoops are bigger than 1850/186 and also mini scoops arent that small
dont think v1200 would work good in x1, x1 can be a good alternative because they arent that massive but you'll need another driver

Cubo 18 seems to work with a variety of drivers and is considerably smaller as a scoop.

As far as I know V1200 is a reflex driver. And since it is not available anymore I would not risk putting it in anything other than a reflex :)

Ah fair. May have to move the 1200's then as we want to keep the challengers for kick duty. Would like to finally get a stack of four horns and from reading the v1200 sounds all to risky to make an exspensive error.

What would you say they are worth ?
