Hi,
Thanks for the help you gave me in choosing the system most suited to me !It's a very powerful system for it's size and it sounds just lovely! I use it for partys with about 100~150 people, with mostly dance music (House, Hardcore, Dance, Trance, ecc...) The sub is RCF LF12G301 loaded and is powered by a "the t.amp TA600" in bridge mode giving 450 watts... It sounds very good and warm, and when i stay in front at it my ears hurts for the high pressure !The tops are 2xFBT Jolly8ra and they have a very cristal clear sound. The system is controlled by an Behringer CX3400. And this is my system in my livingroom: ![]() Here is the build thread of the MTH-30: http://forum.speakerplans.com/my-mth30-build-thread-pics_topic41907.html Best regards, Giacomo. For the designer of the MTH-30: Congratulation for the great design !Edited by GekoMusic94 - 15 December 2010 at 4:59pm |

I think the system looks really nice, well done. Have you thought about putting a grill on the MTH30?
If you were in the UK, there's a guy here called Markie who could make you really nice grills for the subs, and it would look even better, plus providing some protection for your nice RCF 12". |

According to the plans a grill for this would be about 304mm x 310mm. That being the case it would cost about £18.00 including postage to Italy.

If it's got wheels or tits it's gonna cost a fortune

The grills I bought from Markie look like your Jolly tops, good quality, powder coated.

Now all you have to do is ditch the plastic speakers and make some nice wooden ones.

Yes! But can you help me searching a mid-top project for my sub? Like an 8" but a bit more powerful than my jolly tops.
Thanks, Giacomo. |
