Looks like a rectangle but it isn't. There's a skittle alley down one side if I remember correctly from the last time (maybe 20 years) that I was there. You san see that each side is recessed, and that there is a stage at one end and the entrance and some fire escapes at the other end. If your vaccinations were mandatory and nobody in your class had measles,
then you know that you're not a Millenial kid.</f |

so many keyboard experts spouting out crap lol.
both rigs are owned and run by well respected professional system techs within their fields, this is hardly a case of some rich kids who have just bought a pile of purple stuff with no real clue on how to use it. They do the gigs most people on here can only dream of being local crew box donkeys at, let alone 'in control'. Yes they have to work within budgets, they are professionals and professionals have to make parties, however fun they find them, balance in the books. That's how businesses/making a living works. Once again, these aren't rich kids putting on parties for their mates. Sounds like nobody turned a profit doing this, but they do have to cover the bills - fair play, hell of an effort for minimal return! For that you should say thankyou. Most punters don't care about sound quality like us, when im pissed id rather dance to awesome tunes coming out a ragged piece of shit PA, than bad tunes coming out the best sound system on the planet. Sound clashes are about the music played, the hype, the energy and most importantly, the atmosphere. The sound system is a cheeky bonus. Sounds like there were some amazing people playing some amazing music. So less of the shoulda woulda coulda. Everything was how it was for a reason, and these guys would have made their decisions based on years of experience, extensive knowledge, and done the best job possible for the night in question. Constructive comments/questions to aid learning are always cool, childish insults and slagging off.... not so much. |
