I'm sitting here after building one of three sub cabs (reflex 15) with a knackered back. In the corner is my Dynacord 2400 and Peavey 2600.
Shall I sell and get two iNukes, head says no, back says yes. Stop it |

Nick,
I have two NU3000DSPs that I use for small gigs when working on my own, I've had them for 3 years now and so far they haven't missed a beat. They don't sound quite as nice as my Crest or QSC amps but I have never had anyone complain about sound quality, and most of the time I only ever get compliments, for what they are they are worth every penny... ....My 7 year old son can carry the pair in a plastic rack case!! |

I've never had an issue with my two 3000s, I can't say for the bigger versions....
.... except they should be no different to using large iron transformer amps, both will pull huge chunks of current charging the caps on the peaks of the mains waveform. In theory they should be a little better average pull over a complete mains cycle as they have greater efficiency compared to class a, ab,h or g amplifiers. Behringer state 620watts consumption when using 4r loads for the 6000, 170Watts for the 3000 with the same load and 350watts with 2r loads.. Just for comparison, your pv2600 would be consuming about 840watts outputting about the same power into the same load. Edited by APW - 20 November 2017 at 9:34am |

Will only be issue, if you are using pre-amp and playing heavy sub material, and powering 8x subs of 2x 13A plugs. |
