I have some mt121 type 12" horns where the builder didn't install tnuts etc so the drivers are just screwed in. If I want to fit these without basically rebuilding the whole thing how can I do that without access to the front of the baffle? If there were such thing as threaded inserts with the outside thread reversed that would do the job.

Thanks but are you sure these has a reverse thread on the outside? It doesn't seem to say they do... Edit: Thinking more about this it doesn't actually need a reverse thread Edited by Risc_Terilia - 21 January 2018 at 10:21am |

No its a normal clockwise thread, but they work fine for mounting drivers when you only have access to the driver side.

Cool thanks for your help - do you have experience with them? What size hold would you recommend for m6 inserts?

Yes i use them all the time, for a 12" mid driver i would use M6x13mm or longer if you have a 2x12mm baffle.
