Good comments.
I guess the best adds would be until I drop in different drivers, do certain things like... stay away from XX frequency or.. keep the volume low... stuff like that. |

It was more intended to be a list of a few possible things than them all being true, but yes I agree. Low electrical damping generally means weak motor though, however that happens. |

Actually, just based on Qes and Qts, the magnet could still be huge, due to a large Xmax *(many turns) or a different motor topology. The voice coil could still be large as well, a 6" VC driver can still have a high Qes and the current 3.9" VC isn't actually that small. Johan |

Those values tell you, you have bought a cheap car bass speaker, for PA use. |

If you check every in a BR box it calls for a BIG box to get it flat.

Long and short of it, quite a weak motor. Small magnet, low magnetic flux in the gap, not many wire turns in the gap, small voicecoil. You get the idea.

So what effect does having a high QES and QTS have.
These are QES - .62 QTS - .57 |

Bet I got mixed up on what driver I picked... I started with the Omega Pro and the guy thats going to be running them wanted more Xmax and in looking through options.... I was thinking these listed themselves as scoop options but ,, nope. Oh well I will drop them in some reflex and sell them to him lol.

Depends what your aim is for the project, really. If you want scoops no matter what and that's your only driver option, go for it but don't expect optimal performance. It's a reflex driver not a horn driver.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the PA465 is not a good drive especially for a scoop.
