Working on a new project inspired from a tapped horn design but with symmetrical cone loading.
suggestions greatly appreciated. 30Hz - 160 Hz target freq |

Most of the little reflectors will do nothing apart from making the volume smaller and the box heavier.
The angled baffles at the throat seem a bit large and look like they cause a restriction on the second 180 degree turns. The cabinet will work a lot better if you add the back panel that's missing in the plan! Have you plotted an unfolded horn path, and done any sims with whatever drivers you prefer? If so, post them.

Xoc1,it's still a rough sketch and still needs some work to do. Yup there is a minimal restriction on that second 180 turn, I need to shorten the divider panel. The angled baffle is inline with the cut out diameter. Cheers |

Looks sufficiently distinct from the CB-18 Cyclops to be interesting. Even if you fully optimise the design, the gains over the much easier to build Cyclops design will still be minimal, but I think gains are possible with this approach.
