Hello guys, I'm looking for a PASSIVE crossover design software. Indeed i would really love being able to put some parametric eq point / all passes in easy way to simulate a signal manipulation, while i play with passive components net. Anyway the most important need is to view the polar response (both on and off axis steps that i've measured) while i play with xover, a thing that the actual X-Sim i use for years don't do. Any suggestion?

Not sure if it does polar or just on axis response but try - http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/software-tools/259865-xsim-free-crossover-designer.html

Guess i found my way in VituixCAD thanks to tthorsten. As i wrote X-Sim is the one i'm using for a while and from which i want to move in a more sophisticated one.

Ah yes sorry, didn't see that detail in your first post. Be interested to know how you get on with VituixCAD

I mean crossovers can be made without any software.

I got the habit to measure and charge responses and impedances on simulators, so i get a good and pretty much predictable result. I now care a lor on directivity control so i would like to improove off axis response too trying to eliminate as much lobes as possible.

I have not used any simulators for like a decade or so. Only my measurement system.
Here is my latest work. A 3 way crossover for the BMS 15CN860 |
