I know everyone raves on about Proline 3000 amps where cheap amps are concerned but are the Naphon amps any good?

What about reliability wise? Levyte357 says they're rubbish.
So was reliability rubbish and now ok or are they great amps but owners should expect it to last about a year before it blows up and takes out all your drivers.

How come? I know some say they're brilliant on subs, Levyte said they're unreliable, maybe they're a 50/50 whether you get a good one. Are the Proline 3000 the most reliable of the cheap Chinese amps that people class as good for sub?

Naphons, when they first came out, and had mod done, were great, better than MA5000VZ at driving 2x 1850s per channel.
Then production quality dropped, and they became crap. Original UK importer, then stopped bringing them in. The End. Edited by levyte357- - 10 October 2018 at 11:05am |

tbh I borrowed one, used it for 3 hours and it blew up and took the main 100amp breaker out at a function , was bit embarrassing , but I have seen spanners one which has the mod done causing trouble many a time, funny enough he did change from a crown vz5 |

Would you say the Proline 3000 are the most reliable Chinese high power sub amps? I know SAE do CA20 but they're more than £600 each including shipping.
