Good morning fellows!

Because I still belive in classic scoop-based soundsystem I've just got pair of Royal Turbomax 1500 M3 (green ones).
Since We're based in Poland and shipping costs of prebuild cabients is a huge dealbreaker I'm trying to find best solution for scoop design.
I've learned that classic mogale super scooper might be to weak to handle almost double of predesigned energy but worth a shot.
Friends are using reinforced version of Cow Scoops for turbomaxes but they've lost speaker plans.
I've heard that fane design might work as well.
That's way to many options for me to decide to build speakers.

Can anyone share plans for reliable scoops for turbomaxes?

Thank you in advance!

Don't know of any free plans, these work in.

Maybe easier to sell these, and get pair of Void V18-1000, or Used original PD1850s or Oberton 18XB1600.

Plenty of free plans these work in.

build the super scoops, remove the dog leg and make throat 6.5 inch , just double check the depth of the driver will fit in the chamber, I have some turbomax 1000s in this modded design as described, it moves air AND plays notes !! takes over 1kw with out moaning , DO NOT LEAVE THE DOG LEG IN !!!!

Thank you paulus, that's useful!
Will it apply to 1500 as well?

I've been around 1500s for years, and know many people who tried to get them to impress in many cabs, with not much success.

Also to add if worried about the super not holding up pressure for that t-max

wen building them , just over brace them in every area possible , cant see any problem then tbh

I've heard the Tmax 1500 in Shortman full/minis.

Up close, loads of notes.

5M back, "Are the cabs playing !?" Confused

yes the 1500m3 is prb the worst tmax driver out there , but if you really have to keep it that will work but don't keep the leg in lool
@ lev yes know what you mean , its almost unbelievable when the pressure by  cab is so so much and few meters back absolutely nothing , most odd , shame really as the lows and air are really great :(

I hope it means that it a struggle to match cabient for it, not in terms of a sound.
If it takes some extra work or costs it's fine for me.
All I really need now is to choose base project for it and then follow with tests and modifications.
Do you think you can point a cabient to start with?

Maybe ask Roy, he will have feedback from customers?

Pretty sure he will make the driver into another model for you if you explain requirements?

For the record BP used to have 8 USB with those 1500 in, Lab driven (cabs a bit modded) never impressed but then one day at a hardcore gig was like war zone. Different music ya seeSmile
