That's a tough one to answer, as really there isn't a used market for these.  Hopefully that will change, as it's a lot of amp for the money.

The other tricky thing is the extra cost of Dante, which most users buying second hand may not be bothered about?

These are so new they will also be warrany left on them, which has to be worth something if transferable?  Is it transferable?

I'd like to think of buying an X4 as equivalent to buying 2 x other high end brand, all singing, all dancing amps.  Most people, I would think, would spend maybe £1500 + VAT on a real top end amp, around 1 year old?  I know all the D&B, L'Acoustics stuff goes for around this price, maybe more?  And the X4/X8 are vastly superior in my book.

So, X4 - £3000 + VAT = £3600
X8, £6000 + VAT = £7200

How's that for a start?  I'm more than happy to hear anybody elses ideas here, as we run 6 X8 Dante, and will probably start turning them round in 2021.

Fantastic amps by the way, but they might be a bit rich for most on Speakerplans?  Most DIY peeps like to put systems together slowly, and are usually on a tight budget.  £7k is probably double most peoples budget for the entire rig, I know, I've been there.

Best value on these X series amps will be in 10 years time, when they are going for £2500 a pop.  Still, even now I think value for money on channel count is awesome, esp on the X8's.

Anyone able to offer insight into what price I should position a nearly new Powersoft X4 Dante at?

Sorry I know this might appear like a for sale post but these so rarely come up used I wanted to "think tank" what the used price would be.
